The Austin Museum Partnership is proud to present Austin Museum Day—a free community-wide rediscovery of the Austin-area’s museums and cultural organizations. Take the entire family out on the town to enjoy local exhibits and activities at more than 35 participating institutions! All participating institutions are open for free.

Experience the 1960s at the LBJ Library’s exhibit Sixty from the’60s, featuring 60 icons of that era. See original lyrics written by Bob Dylan, a Telstar satellite, a dress worn by Jacqueline Kennedy, Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin’s communications headset, a boxing glove worn and signed by Muhammad Ali, and an original Peanuts comic strip – just to name a few items.
